*smile* I first encountered it at the academy, my first contact with human culture it may seems like a silly thing but it helps me focus my toughs...
I where heavily injure when we first meet by the explosion of the Cube you where on... trauma that wound have kill me if Lirilu had not ben there...
<Angelles> Lirilu your Senior Science Officer ?
<Horagen> Yes she saved my life as she did yours... she used the available Borg alloy from the wreck and create a resonances pouch to stabilize my inner organs and to keep the wound closed up, It is flexible enough so I can move normally but the side effect is not known apart from sever headaches...
I still get crippling headache even now and over long time of exertion my old wounds will start to bleed again... if unchecked I will died from it...

<Horagen> It may be discover and I would be strip of command or kill for an infiltrator... For now I have be lucky to only have ben treated by Lirilu or others of the crew members.
For now at least I am Captain of this ship and a member of Admiral Karlos's fleet... and an officer of Starfleet.

<Horagen> Where were we Angelles...
<Angelles> I believe you were going to tell about the day your fleet should have been move out Captain...
<Horagen> Arh yes thank my dear *clears throat*...

We where meeting the admiral at ESD docking port #13 for a debriefing on when we where moving to Sierra Starbase 39 as well as a get to know one another curtsey.
Beside Admiral Karlos, Chief Engineering Officer Jordan Baker, Borg Specialist Z'hai and myself we were joined by our two newest recruits Rose and Monroe.
The admiral informed us that we where to delay our deployment to SB39, because of a reason Borg incursion it the area and we need to joined up with an Attack group called the 3rd with where stalking them. We did not have the luxury to delayed any further so Admiral Karlos directed us to Z'hai Cruiser for the duration of the mission. A mission that would prove more difficult then many of us would have known...

Mission started all right we where each giving station with Z'hai bridge officers to supervise.
I where station at front weapons, and Monroe the aft weapons, if required one of us would take over for the other in case of a boarding party where needed. CEO Jordan would oversee the engineering of the ship, Rose toke the helm and the Admiral toke control of Science and Sensor. The capable Z'hai would direct the cause of action need to succeed.

Most of the mission seems to be a haze for me but if I remember correctly.
The 3rd fleet where destroyed ( though we beam out as many of the survivors as we possible could ) and the Cube where turning to face us sending a steady stream of fire and boarders against us so much so that the ship would be in danger, Mr Monroe where heading the defense of the vehicle down in the engineering with 3 squads though the were heavily pressed.
I where still as the weapons control doing what I could to stop the Cube's attack even for a brief respite though nothing seemed to make a difference. Z'hai and Admiral Karlos had a brilliant plan to use the unexploded wreck of the last 3rd fleet to pierce the shield and focus the against the hull of the Cube. Rose bumped the wreck slightly to give it the angle it need and some much need speed and I set the weapons to auto correct with the wreak with the help of CEO Jordan so it would fire and the moment it would be needed. I then turn to Z'hai and told of the weapon setting to her and the Admiral and requested to join in the defense with Monroe with the 3 extra squads I have directed in their defense

Down below it where like stepping into a sun so much heat were generated form the fires that seems to sweep the ship in the wake of the attack. Battle damage were to be seen all over the place and bodies of the fallen pilled up almost at every corridor where ever we cleared a room a room I ordered a turret to be set up pair with a shield generator to provide a fall back point and protection from flanking by the Borgs that may not have ben discovered yet. From room to room. Corridor to corridor we attacked and re-modulated the beams in our weapons to continue on.
Hour by hour seems to go by with out any indication that we had stem off the attack. I had not even notice until now that Z'hai had joins us here in the barrows of the ship to fight of the invaders.
Over the comms we all heard the final order ben giving. The order to shoot at the wreck. Even at the distance we had I could feel the ship react to the massive explosion that shock the ship. The action had an profound effect on the battle no more Borgs where beaming in and with fresh heart we began cleansing those that remained. With those last Borgs gone and my final security supervision had ended I went to the surprising undamaged canteena and order the biggest cup of coffee I could...

<Horagen> Well after the events of the day before you can be sure we hoped that our moved this day would be peaceful at best. So we could get some of our strength back when we would be commanded to moved out once again.
It would not be so apparently High Command thought it would be a good time to be a gracious host for a diplomatic conference even though our OP was not even up yet... I voice the concern at the meeting before we moved out though I do not think it were presented so. And thou I where a little worried holding the meeting where our headquarters where going to be I felt confident that Admiral Karlos and the rest of the squad where up to the task at hand...
Our fleet formation where impressive to say the least as we moved out with the Admiral in forth and the rest of us forming up behind him. We have even ben strength abit by another Admiral and Lieutenant Xirix and later would be joined by Lieutenant commander K'run. Moving a warp 5 to allow for the difference of our ship configuration we move with good speed for Sierra Starbase 39.

Starbase 39 our new home away from home... to be honest when we first arrived it where not that impressive to look at but then looks can be deceiving. We split up as per the debriefing the Admiral and Commander Z'hai moved out with a sector escort to begin the diplomacy. And the rest of us formed up around Mister Monroe. Who where named our quartermaster for the mission duration.
On site Monroe dedicated work for us all Rose where to handle “Sensors and Security” at the first station. Xirix where working on our stat of readiness and CEO Jordan where making sure that our power output would not compromise the starbase. I where handling “quarters and supplies” for out troop so we had a place to stay and would at least get feed well as we stayed here. While we all worked on our task at hand we could hear over the comms that Admiral Karlos and Z'hai had some problems on their own apparently the Romulan delegation did not even have the curtsey to show up or giving a pretext to do so, while that scan of the delegate began the Romulans attack and destroyed the Escort while others started to board 39.

All hands where convertion at the station where I was and had been since the enemy attacked the escort using the turrets of 39 to as good and effect with Rose to take some of the pressure of Z'hai and Karlos but when the enemy began boarding we assemble to pressure their advance using what cover we had to pour as much fire in there formation as we could but many more where beaming in. After the outside where as secure as it could be with enemies still about the Admiral and Z'hai joined us in the defense of the starbase. He tried his best to recall us from the places we occupied but to no really effect the Romulan's where putting up a hefty battle pressuring us further from our Admiral then intended. Only when Z'hai with great danger to herself sprinted to our position firing on the move and then relaying the Admirals order where we aware what had truly happen. I offered to stay as a Vanguard to support the rest of the Squad’s retreat however Z'hai believed that as the Commander of the mission it was her duty to stay and provide the covering fire... I summited to her greater expiring and felt back after dropping several smoke grenades from my webbings. Running back in the open is never a pleasant feeling how ever I was confident that Z'hai would keep us protected and we all assemble it quick order with the admiral and He lost no time in splitting us up in two teams and We moved as one under cover of smoke and fire.


Team 1 where advancing while Team 2 gave as much covering fire without bringing the first team in danger of friendly fire then the roles reversed and the deadly dance of leap frog continued until at last we where at the foot of the stairs to the upper balcony and the teleporter room. before team 2 moved upwards I trowed a plasma grenade into the teleporter room before resuming to climb stairs and continue our advance to victory even thou the battle where still raging on relentlessly our hopes where high. Under the ensuing battle our Admiral where hit by the enemy persumely by a team of snipers under the rafters. We deviated to form a shield formation around Admiral Karlos and Commander Z'hai started to administrated first aid on our downed Admiral. The rest of us not engage in the Shield continued cleansing the rest of the invaders from the station. With fear in our hearts and anger by what had happen only a couple of the Romulans where left alive and by the time we where finished Mister Monroe had joined Z'hai in reviving Karlos...

Finally it seems that Commander Z'hai succeeded in her attempts to resurrect our dear Admiral how ever during to his extended injuries to his “Joining pouch“ he where transported to our flagship the Arch-Royal after naming Z'hai to continue the operation to make starbase 39 our new home. We returned to what ever task we had begun with and while I returned to by post I made some runs to make sure no more of the Romulan's where there lucky my First officer R'shee had joined me on site and with her and the away team's help no stranglers escaped...
Finishing up what had ben started before the attack and our quarters we set up satisfactionally I ask permission to patrol the perimeter out side 39 to make sure no more ships of the enemy where within range... I was exhausted by the time we where finishing our patrol and by recommendation by Lirilu, my medical officer , I with to sickbay to have my wounded examine and to make sure the stress had not compromise it too much with blood sipping out of the cloths I where wearing it was an easy call.. signing of with Commander Z'hai making no mention about why... I told her that our patrol where all clear and would continue to monitoring sector space for treats of now. With request being granted I move the ship to monitoring and patrol the nearby sector... putting R'shee in charge of the the helm I went to sickbay.

<Horagen> *signs* it is a sad day my dear Angelles...
<Angelles> Why Captain you got promoted to Admiral right and even got commission a new ship ?
<Horagen> yes that is correct and the U.S.S. Valdineus is a good ship base on the Cerberus class though more of a hybrid then a true class.
<Angelles> then Why Captain are you sad ?
<Horagen> you are aware of our last battle against the Romulans ? The one that lost us the “Ranting Dane”...
<Angelles> Yes captain it was a tragical lost to us all many where wounded and
some of the crewmen died during the evacuation of the ship...
<Horagen> Yes and among them where my first officer R'shee and head of Tactical Deployment Kur'rath both have been with me since the beginning. Only Lirilu, Lecia and Boteb are now left. R'shee lost her life when the bridge where breach by Photon torpedo and Kur'rath, mortally wound by the blast, rammed the ship in to the remained battle ship.
<Angelles> I see captain I understand now... why where I saved then and not lost with the ship ?
<Horagen>*Smiles sadly* your are as much part of me as you are of the ship my dear... most of your personality and vital functions are linked to the augmentation that keeps me alive so even with the ship gone you are still here with me. I uploaded you to the mainframe of the ship when I took command of her.

<Horagen> *weary* I do not fully know my dear... truth been told you would be alright here but you may feel my passing severely Lirilu does not know for certain either but does as much researche as she can on the subject...

Take you place at her current post as head of security. Lecia is the most senior Tactical officer I have and her promotion is over do she will be my new First Officer and a Brevet up to Commander until High Command have been informed.
