M'Kieitt Hunt.

M’Kieitt Beamed down to the planet, it had been sometime since she had last been here but it was the one place she liked to come to relax.

She looked around the grassy planes that went for miles around her with a number of animals around grazing on the land. The sun was warm with only a small breeze that was moving the hot air around.
After sending a few minutes looking around she jumped off the small mound of rock that where there. She started to move some of the rocks till she found the lock box she had hid here long ago. Opening it she took off her comm badge and pips, she took one more look around the area before she started to take her uniform off and putting it into the box. Then locking it with a voice pass code and burying it again with rocks.

She moved away from the mound of rocks feeling the head of the sun on her fur and the breeze blowing it felt freeing something she hadn’t done for some time. She had missed, a uniform was too restricting and she now felt like she had just been set free.

She enjoyed the feeling for a bit longer but she wasn’t here to run around in just her fur she was here to hunt. She took off at a run to a herd of animals that looked to be 1 mile away she guessed.

When she started to get closer she slowed down staying to the long grass that would hide her well as it match her fur colour and she slowly started to stork her prey. She spent the next hour moving closer to them making sure she would be spotted or heard. Picking out one of the bests from the herd she got to the edge of the long grass.

Just as she got there the animals ears perked up and it lifted its head to look around. M’Kieitt froze knowing the animal heard something and if she made a noise now it would send the heard running and the last hour getting close to them would have been wasted.
She stayed very still waiting for the moment that she could act. The animal stops looking around and started to lower its head. This was the moment that she was waiting for. In seconds her pupils widened her heart beat kick up a gear and her power went to her legs as she pounced out form the long grass.

With here move the animal turned to run away but M’Kieitt was close and within a few seconds was within striking distance. She leaped at the animal her legs hitting first and digging claws in so she could grip it. Feeling them go through the animals skin as her arms wrapped around it again digging her claws into so it couldn’t throw her off. With that the animal was hers and it was time to go in for the kill.
She went for the throat clamping down hard with her teeth on its wind pipe cutting off all air in and out of its body. The beast kept running for a few more seconds before it comes crashing to the ground. M’Kieitt knew was coming and braced herself for the animal hitting the ground and made sure that it didn’t fall on top of her.

With the animal on the floor it wouldn’t stop fighting as it tries to get air into its body but M’Kieitt held on waiting for the moment that it would stop fight. It took a minute more before it stopped fight. But she knew it was still alive so held on. Feeling the animal’s heart beat she waited for it to stop before letting go. It slowly started to slow down till the point where it stopped.

She let go of the animal’s neck and licked the blood from around their mouth. It was good to make a kill like this it had been sometime and she was starting to miss its feeling she was happy that she took some time away from everything to do this and she shouldn’t leave it so long again.

She grab the animal and started to make her way back to the lock chest to get herself so she could get back to the ship with her prise.
