(This is a submission to Karlos concerning the RP in Z's ready room and her reaction to it, as always subject to Karlos' approval as the architect.)

...she had "promised" the Admiral that she had purged the transmission from the Chesapeake's data banks proper...she had told him the truth, just not the "whole truth" as any good operative would have (old habits die hard). She had indeed purged the data from the ships computer, but not before transferring a copy to her own computer's local memory...

    <Z'Hai>"Computer...access file Beta-seven-nine-three-two-alpha...authorization Zebra-Delta-zero-five-one-six-seven-eight.

    <computer>"...opening secure file."

...she took a sip of Oolong tea, pursing her lips as she reviewed the data over and over with a critical eye and ear, she mumbled to herself quietly...

...all three voices...its the same person...a shape shifter?

...she thought about the odd way the Admiral had been acting in her ready room, the things he DIDN'T do as well, again she mumbled to herself...

...and I decrypted it right in front of "him", dammit...

...she suspected why he had brought it to her, he KNEW that she could decrypt it, she even suspected that he already knew about her ties to SFI that she had just confirmed to gain his trust. Now she wondered if "he" was who he appeared to be...

...you've been away from "the game" for too long Z, you've gotten rusty...

...Z leaned back in her chair steepling her fingers as she stared at the screen...

"...its going to be a bumpy ride."

...she needed a strategy and she needed it now.
